The looming Water Crisis…
South Africa is rated as one of the Top 25 Most Dry Countries in the world and we have disregarded this fact in our day to day living.
Major construction is required to ensure the safety and quality of our water supply and that will mean increased costs for all South Africans. Once again it is evident that the government has left things too late and too make up will require large amounts of money and quickly, and this all means increase costs for the already burdened citizen.
Us as South Africans have all the incentive in the world to change our habits and it can start small…
A Water & Energy Efficient Shower Head can save the average family of 4 around R3.5k a year and around 100,000 litres of water at home and at Eskom. I know it sounds like it is exaggerated but it is not….
The typical shower head operates at 18 litres a min…..a 10 min shower uses 180 litres……..and if you have 4 people living at home…..720 litres daily. This does not even take into account bathing, kitchen use and gardening.
Our heads operate at maximum 9.5 litres a min – half than the average – without compromising on the shower quality.
From only R215 it is a MUCH needed investment.
Have a Solar Day!
